The following video is presenting the goal, approach and technology of the SERPIC project, as well as the interim results:

The fourth General Assembly of SERPIC was held at the University Castilla – La Mancha in Ciudad Real on 28. and 29. April 2023.

The SERPIC consortium has selected six target compounds of emerging concern (CEC) that will be investigated during the long-term field test of the treatment prototype. A scientific paper describes the methodology of the selection.

The third General Assembly GA3 was held as hybrid meeting from 20th to 21st of October 2022 in South Africa.

What does the local situation look like regarding the presence and spread of CECs in Italy, Spain, Portugal and South Africa? SERPIC used a methodology to identify 6 critical CECs in these regions, which will be targeted for removal via developed treatment technology.

The SERPIC consortium successfully implemented the second General Assembly GA2 from 9th to 10th of May 2022 in Porto, Portugal.

The first General Assembly of SERPIC took place 20. and 21. September 2021 as hybrid meeting.

The three European Joint Programming Initiatives (JPIs) on Water, Oceans, and Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) set up the ERA-Net Cofund AquaticPollutants.
